So which is the best,reliable & cheapest dedicated hosting with apache,php,mysql & linux, with fast ftp access transfer, and good security.

Any recommendations. Note i have been put off by godaddy by there shared hosting not being very reliable, in terms of ftp access always crashing.

Rock solid support and uptime. I’ve gone through about 6 web hosts now and I’ve never gotten better, timelier support.

I have two sites, each one hosted by different servers. Yahoo is a good beginners avenue. I can tell by the questions you ask you are needing something a little more advanced. Also Yahoo tech service is slow to respond if you have any questions. offers great pricing (although you have to buy in a minimum of six month increments). They offer click be web developer which in my opinion is a kids toy but it is free. They also offer soholaunch pro edition for a fifteen day free trial. After the trial period you loose some premium features but standard features you are left with are better than most builders you have to pay for. They have 24/7 live chat tech support that is really helpful. I am not affiliated with 3ix or soho they have worked great for me and thought i would pass it on. happy hunting
